Simona and Piero asked me for one thing: elegant, spontaneous photographs, with no one getting in the way.
They wanted to enjoy their day. And whoever works for a couple that day should do it quietly.
The morning, at home. A pug dozing on the floor, a window open onto the bay, the puffed sleeves of the dress. A bunch of lily of the valley on the balcony, between the buildings and the sea.
Then the church of San Francesco d’Assisi in Vomero. Page boys with white flowers, stained glass, vows read at the altar, laughter. Rice beneath the arch of flowers.
The party was at the Chiostro di San Francesco. First the sunset on the terrace, with Naples and the bay lighting up. Then dinner under the arches of the cloister, with lights drawing circles on the walls. And dancing, late into the night.
Delicacy is another word for elegance.
For photographers too.
