Catherine and James got married at Grand Hotel Furore, in Furore, at the heart of the Amalfi Coast. An intimate wedding, suspended above the sea.
Here the place tells half the story on its own: light that keeps changing, open spaces facing the sea, white architecture in conversation with the coast.
The temptation is to overdo it.
I chose the opposite: to let the images breathe.
First, the quiet. A window open onto the sea, invitations on the table, the lace of the dress.
Then the garden among the olive trees, bridesmaids in fuchsia and olive green, an arch of burgundy flowers.
The champagne tower, the toasts, dinner on the terrace with the sea below. The bouquet thrown by the pool. The sun dropping behind the mountain, the evening turning blue, his jacket around her shoulders.
I followed the real rhythm of the day, without forcing a thing.
