I am Elia Vaccaro, a wedding photographer in Naples since 2005. In my view, every wedding deserves to be told by capturing the purest essence of the protagonists, capturing perfect moments to be placed along an intimate, coherent, authentic narrative.
I follow a photographic style that I would call documentary: with discretion and curiosity, I move through the space, choose the best perspectives, play with the light, wait: I shoot. And then I shoot some more. One frame after another, I build snapshot upon snapshot the story of your most beautiful day.
The principle guiding my work is that of authenticity: I am not looking for the technically perfect shot, but photographs that can show your emotions. Spontaneous expressions, true gestures, situational and sincere poses: you, in your most genuine and accomplished essence.

Elia Vaccaro meets photography almost by chance, but turns it into a language of the soul. After a humanistic education and a past written with art, he discovers in the camera not only a tool, but an extension of his interiority.

I think of my work as a wedding photographer in Naples as being, not just a performer, but an expert consultant in my own field. As such, I offer my clients guidance and assistance in managing a very important and responsible service.
First, I listen. I understand the needs, expectations, tastes of the bride and groom-to-be. Based on the requests and information gathered, I formulate my proposal, defined in a personalized way, also considering the location, the style of the wedding, the wishes expressed and those only hinted at by the bride and groom. Managing my work as a wedding photographer while staying true to one’s stylistic canon requires commitment, dedication, passion. I consistently carry on a way of living my role and make natural photo shoots by indulging two continuous tensions, two pivotal principles:
The search for real light: My shots imprint the colors and lighting of the moment. I look for the perfect white point, the alignment of contrasts so that black and white are always visible, the harmonization of subjects. I wait, I breathe and, only when I feel that everything is as it should be, I take the photograph.
The care of printing: The moment of the shot tells the present and transforms it into eternity, but it is during the printing process that the photograph becomes truly real, tangible. That’s why I curate this stage maniacally in my photography studio, using pigment inks and Canon Pro printers; I carefully choose the paper and the type of print, to make sure that no nuance of the snapshot is lost in the transition from digital to photographic paper.
